DAYTON — To say the Dayton volleyball team celebrates with vigor is an understatement.
And there was a lot "vigor" happening Saturday night in Dayton.
The Pirates dominated Santiam Christian in game one, and other than a blip in game two, didn't really slow down as Dayton defeated the Eagles 3-1 (25-13, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18) to win the West Valley League title.
Both teams will now await their seeding in the 18-team Class 3A state tournament - set to start this upcoming week.
