SHERWOOD — The ninth-ranked Sherwood football team couldn't get its offense rolling and struggled to slow down Glencoe's power-running, clock-eating offense in a 28-18 loss Friday in Sherwood.
The Bowmen (4-4 overall, 2-1 Pacific Conference) trailed 6-3 to the Crimson Tide (3-5, 2-1) midway through the second half when it appeared Sherwood would get a stop - however a symbol of the Bowmen's night was about to happen.
On fourth down, Glencoe fumbled the snap before quarterback Nolan Wolfe picked it up, escaped pressure and flung a ball downfield caught by Titus Duhon for the score to make it 14-3 Crimson Tide with 5:26 remaining in the third. VIDEO HIGHLIGHT
